Promotional Events in Abington
 

The Abington Economic Development Office first commenced operations in 1995 with the development of new streetscape visions for Abington Business Districts.  We also introduced some progressive new thinking for this area back the, such as Business Tax Abatement.  We are now expanding outward to define new business dimensions for the coming decades.  Exclusive of salary and capital projects, the EDO functions from a modest $4,500 annual operating budget and an approximate $40,000 business maintenance budget.  Much of what the office is able to accomplish comes from the direct promotional partnership with many business owners who already realize that this community is truly their business home.  We would like to thank our financial partners, highlight our programming and set sights on increase promotional activity.
 

Resources
The Economic Development Office Business and Community Mobile Promotions Van is equipped with event resources such as caution cones, barricades, lights, tents, tables, and chairs that are used to set-up promotional events.  The Community Mobile Promotions Van is available for individual businesses and organizations use to increase the number of promotions that occur within the business community.
