Grant Uses
Uses for
grant funds include but are not limited to:
• Awnings

Benches
• Brick
•
Fencing
•
Landscaping
•
Lighting
•
Painting
•
Parking
Lots
•
Sidewalks
•
Signs
Any interior building
element or business equipment deemed essential to business
operations or performance.
Program Conditions
1. The building facade or
site improvement must be consistent with the Township’s
Architectural
Guidelines.
2.
Abington Township will review the project request and
enter into contract with the
applicant.
3. This
package applies only to business/commercial use where new part or full-time
community job opportunities can be created.
4. Subject
to other conditions to be discussed during the application review.
5. Grant payment is
made directly to qualified contractor or owner
Grant Terms
1. Grant amounts can range
from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $20,000 per
site.
2. The
grant write-off period is four years of continued employment opportunity.
